There was a 25th birthday, complete with the best birthday celebration ever. There were college graduations that made me excited for my own. There was wine tasting in Napa, followed by an affinity for wine itself. There were nerve-wracking job interviews and dance concert auditions. There were Second Saturdays of epic proportions. There was a fancy bridal shower, with an even fancier bachelorette party to follow. There was wining and dining. There were lunches, brunches, desserts, and the happiest of happy hours. There was a beautiful wedding for two of my dearest friends. There was a spontaneous trip on the 4th of July where all kinds of cute guys were met. There were baseball games complete with lots of boys and beer. There was A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed on a midsummer’s night. There was a long-awaited, much-needed change made. There were 12 long, grueling-but-necessary weeks of summer school. There was a family vacation made to the happiest place on Earth. There were drunken karaoke nights with horrible hangovers to follow. There was the inevitable end of something great. There were flirty text messages sent and fun first dates. There was an exciting first-time-ever camping trip. But overall, there were new people met, experiences had, and memories created, which made for an absolutely amazing 100 days of summer.
