Don’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself. Go outside. Read a book. Spend time with your friends. Go for a walk and enjoy the sunshine. Go to the gym and workout. Play Rock Band. Take a dance class. Attend a concert in the park. Go to a baseball game. Lay out by the pool. Meet new people. Make new friends. Clean/organize/redecorate your room/apartment/house. Create a piece of artwork. Take a trip, even if it’s just for a day. Go out to a nice dinner with your friends. Go rafting. Buy yourself a gift. Take up a new hobby. Dance. Do whatever it takes to take your mind off of what’s bothering you. But whatever you do, don’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself, because that’s the worst thing you could possibly do.
