Loving that I’ve had more time this month to workout and focus on getting healthy. I started going to yoga once a week which I’m LOVING. (I wish I could afford to go every day!) The rest of the week I run for 30 minutes on the treadmill. Food-wise, I’m drinking green smoothies again; they’re a lot more enjoyable when it’s warm outside.
Loathing the extra bills that I’ve had to deal with this month. First I had to pay my car registration which was $179, then a dental bill that was $126. That’s money that I could be using for my debt. So frustrating!
Reading nothing at the moment, though I certainly have the time now. Do you have any good book recommendations? I heard this one is good, so I’ve been thinking about giving it a try.
Listening to the iTunes POP station, so lots of Beyonce, Katy Perry, Pharrell, and Justin Timberlake in my life.
Feeling stressed about my financial goals. Now that I don’t have a second job and business has slowed down at my current job, I’m not making enough money to pay off my debt and save money as fast as I want to. If I keep at the rate I’m going, I’m definitely not going to get all my debt paid off by the time I turn 30 next year.
Planning a mini-getaway in Berkeley with Chris next weekend. My close girlfriend is getting married there on the 29th, so Chris and I decided to make a weekend of it. We’re going to stay in the hotel that the reception is going to be at, and we’re planning on doing some sight-seeing around Berkeley when there aren’t any wedding festivities going on. Chris and I haven’t traveled anywhere since September, so I think this will be a really nice, inexpensive weekend away for us. Especially since we don’t have any other travel plans until August!
Working On finding a second job. I’m still waiting to hear if I got the part-time non-profit job I interviewed for last week. In the meantime, I’m skimming Craigslist on the daily.
Wishing I didn’t have allergies so I could go outside and enjoy this beautiful spring weather. It’s been so warm and gorgeous here in Sac lately. Too bad I’m trapped inside my apartment all day long.
Looking forward to taking a trip to San Jose on Saturday to visit my relatives whom I haven’t seen in a while. My cousin is throwing a 1st birthday party for her son, so it should be a fun time with my family!
