Loving the extra income I’ve been making this month thanks to all my side hustling. I’ve been working hard these last few weeks, and it’s paying off. My income for this month is probably going to be the most I’ve made all year. In fact, it’s the most I’ve made in a while considering last year I worked a temp job for six months, then faced unemployment.
Loathing my spring allergies. Let’s get summer started already!
Watching dude movies with Chris. We saw Godzilla last week, and before that, we saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This weekend we’re going to see the new X-Men movie. Aren’t I such a good wife for going to see all these dude movies with him???
Feeling a little nervous about my summer income. My co-workers at my restaurant job keep telling me that business slows down in the summer. This could affect my debt repayment pogress since my restauarnt job brings in the majority of my income. Hopefully I won’t have to find a THIRD job this summer!
Planning a super fun birthday weekend! Tonight, Chris and I will start out the weekend with birthday dinner #1 of 4. As for the daytime festivities, I plan to get pampered tomorrow afternoon, have a picnic with friends on Sunday, lay out by the pool, and maybe even do some shopping. I’m basically doing a staycation this weekend, and I can’t wait!
Working on my time management skills for my personal life. I’ve mentioned before that blogging and working out have been pushed to the backburner ever since I started my second job mid-April. I’d like to get back to blogging 3x a week and working out 5x a week. It’s just that whenever I have free time, I’m tired. For instance, yesterday I took a two-hour nap instead of working out like I had planned. Whoops.
Wishing that it cost $0 to get my wisdom teeth taken out in few weeks. It’s going to cost me over $300; I’m NOT looking forward to spending that money on a painful surgery.
Looking forward to turning 29 on Monday. It’s a little scary to think I’m about to start my last year of my twenties, but at the same time, I feel ready. I have a lot of exciting things planned for this next year of my life: a trip to the East Coast with my man, running a half marathon, moving into a house, owning my first pet, and paying off my debt. Twenty-nine just might be my best year yet!
