Loving that my wisdom teeth surgery is OVER! It’s done and paid for. No more nervous anticipation, now I can move on with my life. And you know the best part? It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The surgery was short and painless thanks to the dentist numbing my mouth. As for the recovery process, I feel fine. The swelling in my cheeks has gone down, the bleeding has stopped, and I’m not in very much pain at all.
Loathing the fact that I’m not getting very many shifts at my restaurant job. We are overstaffed and business is slow, so it’s hard to make money there right now, which sucks because my restaurant job is my main source of income. Yes, I have a second job, but it doesn’t pay much at all. I’m hoping that this lack of income isn’t going to affect my financial goals.
Watching Orange is the New Black Season 1. I’m not working this weekend since I took time off to recover from my surgery, so why not start the show all over again?
Feeling like I’ve made good progress on my financial goals since January. I just paid off my Visa credit card, so now one of my credit cards has a $0 balance! I have money in my savings. And my credit score is getting closer and closer to hitting 700. I’ve come a long way in six months– I’m looking forward to seeing where I’ll be by the end of the year!
Planning some fun date nights and summer activities for Chris and I to do once I’m done recovering from my surgery. We have some restaurant/movie gift cards, Groupons, and free basball game tickets set aside. Yay for cheap date nights!
Working on my half marathon training. I had my first workout with my training team a week ago, and we’ll continue to meet on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. I’m hoping that my training will help me lose some weight in the process, since I haven’t been very focused on my health/fitness goals these past few months.
Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend after working 10 days in a row and having my wisdom teeth pulled out. Happy Friday!
