Loving the sports and social league Chris and I joined! On my summer to-do list, I wrote that I wanted Chris and I to join a summer sports league, and we did. We’re currently playing kickball on Wednesday nights, and our first game was this past Wednesday. It was so much fun! Our team members seem pretty cool so far. As for our kickball skills, they’re going to need some work, but luckily, the league is not competitive. It’s more about the social aspect and having fun. I’m excited for these next 8 weeks of playing kickball and meeting new people with my hubby!
Loathing that time of the month, the Sacramento heat, and feeling sore from all the running I’ve been doing lately. Bleh.
Watching nothing at the moment. I’ve been meaning to catch up on So You Think You Can Dance, but I haven’t had the time.
Feeling proud of myself for hitting a running milestone last weekend. Last Saturday morning, I ran 7 miles; that’s the farthest distance I’ve ever run in my entire life! I couldn’t believe it when I finished. Crazy to think soon I’ll be running 13.1 miles.
Planning for August. Chris and I have a Yosemite camping trip planned with friends and we can’t wait! We haven’t had a weekend getaway since March, so we’re really looking forward to getting out of Sac for a few days.
Working on applying for full-time jobs. I’ve been browsing job websites daily, now I just need to, you know, APPLY.
Wishing that I didn’t have to get my oil changed soon. I hate spending money on things like that. Damn bills and adult responsibilities.
Looking forward to celebrating a lot of birthdays over the next few days. Tonight my family and I are celebrating my baby sister’s 21st birthday. On Sunday, we’re celebrating Chris’ cousin’s birthday. Then on Monday night, we’re celebrating a friend’s birthday. SO MANY BIRTHDAYS.
