Loving my new Michael Kors purse! Yeah, that’s right, I bought an expensive purse– something I always said I would never do. The reason for the change of heart is because I’ve been really tired of buying cheap purses and having them fall apart after a few months. I’m getting to the age where I’m preferring quality items that will last me longer instead of cheap items that will only last me a few months before I have to replace it again. So when I was at Marshalls last weekend and saw a Michael Kors purse marked down 60% from the original price, I knew I had to have it. I am absolutely in love with my new purse and the fact that I saved so much money on it! Marshalls is definitely becoming one of my new favorite stores because of their prices. Now if I can only find a pair of marked down Michael Kors sunglasses there because the $15 sunglasses I bought at Urban Outfitters last year are broken and need to be replaced.
Loathing the fact that allergy season is upon us. I’ve been loving this warm, sunny weather lately, but I also know that means constant sneezing, itchy eyes, and a runny nose are all in my near future.
Planning our trip to Seattle next week. We booked Otis’ stay at a dog hotel, so now we can focus on what we want to do and see during our trip. To be honest, I think I’m most excited about visiting the original Starbucks. #priorities
Reading Keep Calm…It’s Just Real Estate by Egypt Sherrod. So far, I’m really digging this book and highly recommend it to anyone who is new to the home-buying process because it’s an easy read and breaks down the process of buying a home in a simple manner.
Watching YouTube videos and getting a lot of home decor ideas. I thought I was done with my home office, but now I have even more changes I want to make. Who knew you could get home decor ideas from YouTube? Usually Pinterest is my go-to for those kinds of things.
Feeling overwhelmed, both at work and in my personal life. Work has been really busy lately, and while I like being busy at work because it makes the time go by faster, I’ve been finding myself feeling mentally exhausted when I get home leaving me with lack of motivation to get any chores or things on my todo list done (hence hardly blogging this week). Because of this, I’m extra excited to have a vacation next week, but I’m also dreading coming back to work and feeling behind and buried.
Working on my running routine. I haven’t been running much during the winter months and I’m starting to miss it. I’m hoping now that the days are getting warmer and longer, I’ll find motivation again to get outside and run.
Looking forward to our trip to Seattle and the weekend! I don’t have a lot of social plans this weekend which is good because I have a lot of stuff I want to get done before our trip next week, like clean out the garage and give Otis a bath.
